ABOUT ME
THROUGHOUT THIS WEBSITE YOU MAY SEE STORIES OR EXPERIENCES I’VE HAD THAT HAVE LED ME TO WHERE I AM TODAY. WHAT I USUALLY AVOID SPEAKING OF IS HOW FOR 20+ YEARS I WAS LIVING A SORT OF DOUBLE LIFE OR STRADDLING TWO WORLDS. ONCE I COMPLETED MY ART DEGREE, I BEGAN WHAT ULTIMATELY LED TO A SUCCESSFUL CAREER IN DESIGN, WORKING AT SOME OF THE LARGEST COMPANIES IN NYC. FOR MANY YEARS I HAD THIS ‘DESIGNER LIFE’ AND ‘ON THE SIDE’ I WAS A HEALER AND LAND ENERGY ARTIST. I RARELY SPOKE OF THIS IN MY CORPORATE LIFE, WITHOUT REALIZING, SPENT MANY YEARS IN A SILENT SUFFERING. I CONVINCED MYSELF IT ALL WORKED TOGETHER BECAUSE DESIGN IS LIKE ART. (YEAH, NOT REALLY :D)
THAT ALL CHANGED WHEN, IN 2016, I MADE WHAT MANY CALLED A RASH DECISION AND BOUGHT A CAR AND HEADED TO CALIFORNIA WITH NO JOB OR PLACE TO SLEEP ONCE I GOT THERE. IT WAS ONE OF THE MOST ODDLY SPONTANEOUS THINGS I HAVE EVER DONE AND I WOULD DO IT AGAIN IN A HEARTBEAT. IT’S, AMONG MANY THINGS, HOW I MET MY HUSBAND. I FINALLY LEFT MY DESIGN LIFE IN NYC IN THE REAR VIEW MIRROR AND IT IS ONE OF THE BEST DECISIONS I HAVE EVER MADE.
